This Pure Malts Whisky Tasting is an in-person event that will celebrate the official World Whisky Day and explore whiskies from 10 different countries, including many you might not have even known that make whisky! What a great day to celebrate the reaches of the whisky world with new flavors, new aromas, and amazing stories of how these came to be. This is a great chance to level up your world whisky knowledge and align tastes/aromas to these different countries. We are super excited to fly around the world with you on this wonderful tour!
The countries and whiskies represented:
- American: not what you were expecting - a single malt from Tenmile
- Brazil: a special peated single cask (Cadenheads) peated from Union Distillery
- Canada: 35yr JP Wiser's!
- India: a Paul John small batch bottle from Cadenheads, these are really nice
- Japan: a collab from Mars and Chichibu - excited to share this one!
- Ireland: a very special bottle from Drammers and JJ Corry (decadent!)
- South Korea: an amazing first release from Kimchangsoo - so good!
- Taiwain: special single cask from years ago from Omar
- Tasmania: 20yr single cask from Hellyers Road
- Wales: a "peachy" Welsh whisky from Penderyn and SMWS
